Cloak
Productions is a company established in October 2002
by husband and wife team Graeme and Janice Spencer aiming to produce
high quality television programming for the broadcast market.
As a company it also seeks to serve organisations and companies
in a number of other areas - including production of corporate
communication tools, event management services, and media consultancy.
Founded on Christian principles, it boasts amongst its strengths
creativity, skill and integrity.
The Team:
Graeme
Spencer
(Managing Director) is the former Head of Production of GOD TV, Europe's first daily
Christian broadcasting satellite service. He joined them on their
second day on air and was with them for their first seven years
during which time they expanded from two hours daily to two twenty-four
hour channels. He was responsible for overseeing their in house
productions - both studio and outside broadcasts - production
managing all their special events and conferences and also produced
and directed a considerable amount of their material, winning
numerous awards from the Christian community. His work included
- Friday Night Live, Faith on the Line, In Depth, God Digital
Roadshow, Sunday Night Live from Jerusalem, The Braveheart Conference,
and many many more.
Janice
Spencer
(Finance Director) is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has worked for both secular and Christian organisations. She was the Chief Accountant for Valentines Greetings Cards, the General Manager of The Manna House coffee shop and bookshop and the Financial Controller of GOD TV. She is currently the finance manager of Aquila Way (a rapidly growing Christian Charity in the North East). Her expertise includes management accounting, cash flow projections, budgeting, charity accounting (including Tax and VAT issues) and system project management.
Steph Robinson (Office and Production Manager) – Steph is the newest member of the team at Cloak Productions and is a great addition. She comes to us with considerable production experience, having just production managed the BBC1 prime time series “The Meaning of Life” and having worked across many different genres and programme styles, Steph will be a great asset to the company.
Jon Harris (Editor and Broadcast Designer) – Jon has many years experience in the television industry as both an editor and a broadcast designer. Jon has worked for a number of North East based companies, including GOD TV. Jon has recently worked for Cloak on the 2 Philo Trust projects and is also the broadcast designer on the current Prayer for the Nations title project.
