2005 was a busy year for Cloak Productions, and particularly for Graeme Spencer. Some of the projects we were involved with included:

Graeme Spencer recently worked as a director on a BBC Scotland ½ hour documentary entitled “The Nymph, The Booby and the Seven Lame Ducks”. The programme, produced by George Cathro of Hand Pict Productions (www.handpict.com) was broadcast on Monday 19th September on BBC2 SCOTLAND to a great reception by the critics. For more information on the programme, visit Hand Pict’s website.

In July Cloak Productions provided UK production services for a major documentary produced by Hollywood based Phil Cooke of Cooke Pictures (www.cookepictures.com). Cloak provided facilities, crew and production management for the UK filming which took place over 10 days in locations including The British Library in London and the Bodleian Library in Oxford. The documentary looks at the History of the Bible in Literacy and is currently in Post Production in the US. Come back later for further details.

In June, we provided TV and screen relay services for the Frenzy youth festival in Edinburgh, commissioned by UCB TV. The concert featured some of the best know Christian music artists from around the world – including Third Day, Newsboys, Delirious and the awesome David Crowder Band. The event was a tremendous success and we hope to be involved in next year’s production. The facilities were provided by Cutting Edge Productions (www.cuttingedgeuk.com)

In May 2005, Cloak produced a special series of programmes for GOD TV in the run up to the General Election in the UK. The four programmes were shot in London and featured politicians from all the 3 main political parties – including, Ann Widdecombe, Stephen Timms, and many others. Rob Frost hosted the programmes and they proved very popular with the GOD TV viewers.

In March 2005, we completed the production of a DVD of a Live and Unplugged concert by Christian singer/songwriter Dave Bilbrough, entitled “This is my Worship”. The DVD was a combination of a concert filmed and broadcast on GOD TV – produced and directed by Graeme Spencer – and additional footage provided by Dave. The TV programme was shot on location at “The Crypt” in Christ Church Spitafields and was held as a fundraising event for victims on the Asian Tsunami. The programme aired on GOD 1 on 6th March 2005.

The DVD (and accompanying CD) is now available for sale on Dave’s website www.davebilbrough.com

We also currently have a number of projects in development and will post more details as they become available.
